The diviya mala ella or aanda dola ella is a waterfall in Colombo – Rathnapura district broader. The water souse for the falls starting from Udagama mountain range . You can easily find the waterfall on Udagama road. The watermart water bottle factory is the best landmark to find the waterfall. You can get to the waterfall by following the footpath from the main road. You can find parking space for few vehicles by the road but make sure you are not trafficking the road.

In the native language, Divya means leopard in English, But the area is not famous for leopard nesting so probably this can be an animal like a fishing cat. But this area is rich with tropical forest patches many water streams starting from this area. So you can find many attractions in this area including safe bath spots.

Diviya mala ella fed by Anda dola ella which is a branch of  Mawak oya and finally adjoining Kalani river. During April-may, October – November rainy season are the best days to visit waterfalls in Awissawella.

Since one of best destinations for day picnic Hewainna and its lake is always crowded in weekend and public Holidays, If you are going for relaxation and Just enjoying the nature you must visit the falls during a working day. There are few other waterfalls also situated nearby to this area.
