Situated in Rakwana, Handapan Ella is one of the most elegant beauties in the Sinhgharaja region. The falls are made at the beginning of the Rakwana River. The path of the Rakwana River has fallen upon Kabaragala mountain and Sinharaja mountain where a valley has been made with 123m height. Although the 23m high waterfall releases a minimum water amount in the dry season, the volume will be quite higher in the rainy season.
