The road that leads to the waterfall start near the Seetawaka wet zone botanical gardens. You can find the Illuovita junction and get the road leads to Kodikanda Aranya Senasana monstery. After passing nearly 500 meters you can see a Bodhiya with a statue of a god. You can get down to the falls from there.

There are a few different ways to get to Ella uda ella waterfall. The most direct route is to take a bus from Colombo to Awissawella. There are also trains that run from Colombo to Awissawella, but they take longer and are not as reliable.
